Hiphop Appreciation Week 2007 Details Announced

In 2007 Hiphop continues to face challenges of misrepresentation and effective criminalization. As part of a continuing effort to educate people to the true nature and purpose of Hiphop, The Temple of Hiphop has determined that this year the theme of Hiphop Appreciation Week (HHAW, May 13-20th) will be COMMUNICATION.
Always key, The Temple is reminding Hiphoppas to Be Mindful of their Words, Thoughts, and Actions as these Performances are Reflections of Who You Are and, therefore, What Hiphop is.
Templists are also encouraged to step up the Boycott of Commercial Rap Radio (per Afrika Bambaataa,) and to Prepare for Future Disasters and/or Terrorist Attacks (per the Teacha, KRS-One.)

"At a time when lawlessness, corruption, wrongdoing and misconduct are the norm, concerned conscious responsible citizens must communicate the peace, love, unity and fun capable of rendering victory over these oppressive cirmcumstances."
