PURE::Social present KRS ONE, the powerful & insightful Hip Hop speaker for a one –off community focused event. Hosting a rare evening seminar, the original Hip-hop "Teacha" will explore the balance of negative & positive elements within Hip hop as a music & as a culture. Dispelling some of the urban & political myths that blame the degradation of urban street culture on Hip Hop music, KRS ONE will be answering questions about his views on Hip Hop exclusively to the community & fans.org

Promoting Peace through Hip Hop

Since 2001 KRS ONE has been promoting the Hip Hop Declaration of Peace & teaching its principles to all interested Hip Hop followers. KRS ONE speaks about reaching the higher self by exploring Hip Hop not just as a rhyme, dance or an art skill but as a life-skill capable of increasing one's own self-worth & raising up a Community.

In a community of many Ills, KRS ONE urges the move towards "peace, love, unity & fun" teaching the international Hip Hop community to become the changes that they would like to see on their own streets & for artists to think of their own selves beyond entertainment & more as the fabric of a community life.

With a range of nine elements of society, Hip Hop is capable of being lived as a sustainable lifestyle, which is capable of raising families & producing peace on the streets.

Proceeds go towards raising the awareness of positive Hip-hop as a cultural movement in UK
